These entries have definitely not been forthcoming. This preamble is uninteresting, so I'll skip the rest of it and get to the point.

I went on a couple of dates this week - using the word loosely, that is. One of them was horrible; the other was decent but didn't quite live up to expectations. I shall explain each one in turn.

The State Library in Sydney was mercifully a 15-minute walk from the hotel, so I didn't waste too much time on travelling. The Myanmar embassy actually delivered on their representation of a quick turn-around time for the tourist visa. I got mine within the day. I was there at 8.20am and there were maybe 7 people ahead of me with three counters open, so it was really quick. When I went back to collect my passport in at 4.30pm, there was no one there! I collected my ultrasound result today. I waited close to an hour for the appointment because some earlier patient held everyone up. Nice. Anyway, apparently the second lump (which I couldn't and still can't feel, but which was detected by another doctor via ultrasound last May) has disappeared, but the first one is still there.
